My experience wi check city was very good the manager there she is very nice her name is jacle she so nice and also pine too she is very helpful I love this place
Ok I mean they charge allot of interest but I think they are more fair than most and very understanding if you just communicate with them. I hate using these places but if you have to you may as well go there.
I went to see about their services and their hours, and to my surprise, open late on Saturdays and also open on Sunday. I’m able to cash my payroll check, send some money(western union) that I promise someone during my work week that I would do when I get back to town. Most of all to reload my card. So I’m able to handle 3 financial task at one stop, when I’m only home on weekends. Right On!
I got my loan December 28th, My first payment was due January 15th I went in on the 16th and it already went to collections cause it was 1 day late.
I WITNESSED THIS VERY THING, TRYING TO DEAL WITH CHECK CITY. I WAS AT THE ONE ON EASTERN & FLAMINGO IN NV AND WAS TOLD I NEEDED A CHECKING ACCOUNT TO GET A PAYDAY LOAN, THAT MY SSI WAS NOT GOOD ENOUGH. I WAS THEN TOLD BY AN EMPLOYEE TO GO TO THEIR LOCATION 40 MINUTES AWAY FOR A SIGNATURE LOAN INSTEAD. I COULDN'T FIND IT AT FIRST--THEY DIDN'T TURN ON THE SIGNS. I needed a small loan for an emergency dental visit for my daughter; and I didn't get paid until the next week. I apprehensively went to Check City, knowing that payday lenders have a pretty bad reputation, I expected the worse, but what choices did I have? 1) let my daughter suffer, or 2) ????. So I borrowed a couple hundred dollars, got the dentist paid and my daughter is a happy girl. Win-win! The total fees were $16.00, a VERY small price to pay for my daughters well being. The teller was very polite and explained every bit of the process of my small loan in a professional manner. The whole process was faster and more convenient than I thought. My experience was great and thanks to them I had my vehicle repaired the same day when otherwise I would have had to wait five more days for my payday.
