To be honest we saw a lot of bad reviews and we were skeptical when we arrived because it’s a home based business, but despite the looks, the service was great, fast and professional and the price is unbeatable. The car was great, a little toyota yaris, cheap on fuel and unlimited km, we rent it for 3 days, went to see around Melbourne. 100% recommended. BIG WARNING – DO NOT BOOK HERE! Extremely unprofessional and absolutely not recommended. In the end, we canceled the booking and even paid a cancellation fee just to get out of it. This feels like a complete scam! No staff present, dirty cars and employees who had no idea what was going on. Do NOT rent a car here under any circumstances!
Absolute scam – NEVER book with Cheapa Car Rental We had a confirmed booking, and during the booking process it clearly stated that an international driver’s license together with the original license is sufficient to rent the car. We arrived with exactly that – and were still refused the car. They suddenly claimed that our license had “no English translation”, which is simply false. Different then other rentals but the service was perfect, they give me what I asked for and everything was like in the description. Best and cheapest in Melbourne. Rented on Christmas they were workin very hard still no problem or delays they also pick you up at the airport if you want.
