He is extremely unethical and a liar! You CANNOT trust him. I asked him several times to password protect my tax returns but they are emailed without any security. He FORGOT to file my 2019 NY and NJ state taxes and I didn't find out from the state tax agency until 4 years later that I owe $7000 in penalties and interest! He requested a penalty abatement on my behalf by lying to NY state that the accountant went into labor while doing my taxes. I requested that he pay for his responsibility of $3700. My husband and I were clients of David for three years or so in 2017-2019. We are still cleaning up the mess he made. He did our tax return wrong every single year and we had to submit amended returns each time. Twice resulting in penalties and interest we owed on back taxes due to his negligence and incorrect original submissions. David was recommended by our good friend but we are very disappointed and would not recommend to anyone we know.

[updated] Please return my money $150 back! You didn't do the job! Almost caused me losing $1000 tax return this year. This guy worked for me for the previous 4 years's tax. I didn't check closely at that time if the treaty was included or not previously. When I checked, I find out I am about to lose $1000 tax return while paying this guy! Paid $150 for filling my tax return as F1. But found to lost $1000 because he didn't put the $5000 treaty deductible in, and don't wanna bother to do it even after I tell him about it.
