I had to update my review from 3 stars 5 years ago to 5 stars today. I had to transfer titles and needed some help. The tax commissioner, Sonia Jackson was there at the front desk to answer my questions and even made photocopies for me. Everything was very smooth. Happy to have Sonia as our commissioner.
Love what the new tax commissioner has done with the place, like the new floors and window tint, was greeted at the door and seen by Donna within minutes, had fast excellent service and got my new plates

When I first moved to Georgia in 2021, this tag office was incredibly fast at processing new registration, etc. I could come inside and be done in less than an hour. However, now that my wife and I have bought two vehicles through a CarMax in Savannah, we have had TWO major issues with this tag office. The first is that they were unwilling to process an out of state title from CarMax, despite there being no legal reason to do so. Some people just have it. And Ms. Hannah is one of those people. After having to come back today after being there on yesterday with a young lady that wasn’t as pleasant but she was nice, Ms. Hannah made the 2nd experience way more worthwhile. She actually talks to her customers and cares about what’s concerning the customer. She was such a breath of fresh air. I truly have never enjoyed going to the dmv until today.
