When Gran went into Chataways we were constantly amazed at how caring the Carers were. They were loving and friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. Towards the end of Gran’s life we were there practically all the time and they even looked after Gran’s son making sure he had meals throughout the day and generally keeping him informed in a very friendly loving way. I cannot be more impressed with this care home. My grandma has been here for about 5 years and now is at the final stage of life. The carers genuinely love her and all the residents. There is nothing they won't do for the comfort and care of each person including us ( her family ), as we spend around the clock time with her. The home is immaculately clean, smells fresh and is constantly kept that way around the clock. The residents are kept clean and are given dignity and compassion. My Grandma spent the last few years of her life here. The staff are very friendly and caring, looking after both my Gran and my family who visited my Gran. The place is clean, smells nice and the food is good. From my experience the staff are also loving towards the patients and family, this is worth a lot. Thank you all and God bless you all as you care for people.

I cannot praise Chataway Residential Home enough. I’ve had quite a few experiences with care homes, having family members who have lived in quite a few and dealing with many, working for one of the large commercial banks for many years. Chataway is head and shoulders above the rest. Whoever is lucky enough to get to live there is not just entering a care home they are entering as near to a family unit as you can get.
