Moved from CA and was a long-time Chase client prior but when moved to Leesburg only branches were in DC. Looking for new bank and walked in and was helped by Ron. Awesome experience, very experienced banker. Was taking advantage of a Chase open account promotion and was a great experience from greeter to making an appt to come back to open accounts. I spoke with Sammy from the Leesburg Chase branch over the phone, and she was absolutely wonderful to work with. She was patient, professional, and incredibly helpful in walking me through my questions. Even though we weren’t face to face, she made the experience feel personal and easy. It’s rare these days to call a bank and actually get someone who listens, explains things clearly, and truly cares about helping. Sammy went above and beyond. Chase is lucky to have her!
Beware, Chase 0 fraud protection is false advertising. They allowed someone to call in and change our address and phone number on the account and order a new debit card. This allowed the scammed to transfer and withdrawal over 17k in 36 hours. To make matter worse, the scammer also cashed a check into the account for another Chase customer. This check ended up bouncing after the account was drained, leaving the account negative $1900. Which now Chase is threatening to take to collections.
