I went to the Matthews Chase Bank location to open a new checking account and they wanted to run a credit check. Since when does a bank require a credit check when I am the one giving them my money? I wasn’t applying for a loan. It was ridiculous. I was also treated so poorly. The banker was so arrogant and obnoxious.
