Never thought I would write a review for a bank but this was the worst experience I've ever had with customer service. Walked in to get my last name changed on my account and the man that tried to help me said my marriage certificate was invalid and to come back with a new one, I told him it wasn't invalid and he got really defensive and wouldn't help me out. This was the most ridiculous encounter I've ever had at a bank. We wanted to update the last name on my husband's account because of our recent marriage. Super simple right? I had no obstacles when I changed mine at a different Chase. We had all paperwork in order and the smug clerk said that the marriage certificate was not valid. Bruh, what? I scheduled a meeting in advance and arrived on time, only to wait 45 minutes before being told the appointment had been canceled without notice. My time is valuable, and this experience felt careless and disrespectful.
