Because of their ATM system, I am giving Chase a one-star rating, even though I have been a regular customer for a long time. This ATM is not open after hours, which irritates me because most of them are. To avoid having to consider opening an account with another bank, I would advise leaving the ATM operational after hours.
I’ve visited this Chase Bank location twice to withdraw cash after hours, but I couldn’t even get into the building because the card access machine is still not working. This is extremely frustrating, especially since there aren’t many Chase locations in Buffalo. For a major bank, I expect better maintenance of basic access systems. Until this issue is fixed, this branch is pretty much useless for after-hours banking.
I had zero issue with this branch until I went to use the ATM after work around 6pm and found out the vestibule hours match normal inconvenient banking hours. It feels greedy and predatory, since most customers are forced to use a non-Chase ATM and incur a fee.
They changed the atm vestibule hours to match their branch hours... absolutely absurd because I work during their branch hours.
