I withdrew my CD because it matured today. I told the lady I was taking it out because it matures today. She never once mentioned that you have to wait till the day after a CD matures to take it out without penalty. I just think I was very clear in taking it out when I did to avoid being penalized. Lack of caring for customers and their money. I could have used that money and I should have been informed I was being penalized for withdrawing early. No way to contact the branch directly via phone. They send me to a call center which has people with heavy accents answer the phone and I can’t understand them. I have charges on my account that are not from me and apparently I can’t speak to a person unless I create time and make a trip into the bank.
You literally have to make an appointment for everything. They do all checks differently as far as if you cash it they will give you x amount out of it at that time and some times you have to wait 3 to 4 days to get any of your money I deposited a large amout on the 29th on June and they said my funds would not be available until July 16th that's absolutely ridiculous. I went into this branch today, 5/1/24, to make a deposit and ask questions about my credit card. The staff at this branch were very friendly and knowledgable. I appreciated their help and assistance. One worker, Amanda, even assisted me by calling securities to help complete and authorize my card. All around, a clean and friendly environment.
Won't even count change for customers anymore. They want you to count it yourself. I'm a customer here. I'm not going to count my change by hand when you have a change counter in the back. You're going to go through and count it when I'm done anyway. You're not just going to take my word for it if I tell you how much is in my jar. I get looked at like, how dare you expect me to do that? Like I'm asking some outlandish thing for you to count change for your customers. Where did the customer service go?
