I was in the process of opening a new business account at Chase. Opening the account was straight forward and took little to no time. I planned to open the account and deposit checks that day while I was there. Within 3 business days I was locked out of my accounts and they are currently holding the deposits. I’ve had to have the customers legal team contact Chases legal team because they will not release the checks. I’ve done everything possible in order to get this cleared up. Had been without a Chase card for a while waiting on my new one, had some issues with the delivery, Ben was extremely helpful as we tracked down what the problem was, and got another card expedited back out to me! Fantastic folks.
I came in to close one account and had to wait like 10-15 mins. Everyone was friendly and polite. When I left I got a call from the manager apologizing for the wait. I was shocked at that kind of customer service. I told them in branch I plan to re-open the account later this month (just had to empty it and wanted to avoid the fee). Overall I’ve been more than happy with the experience.
I was promised $300 for opening an account at Chase Bank. Now since I never received the $300 they are making excuses on why I wouldn't qualify for the $300. The bank manager was very busy that day covering for staff unavailable. Do not fall for their trap as they scam you instead of giving you what you were told you deserve. If I had know they were going to be shady I would have gone with South State instead. They lie to get you to open an account but when it comes down to it they do not deliver what they promise.
