This review is for Joshua's stellar customer service...11 years dedicated to Chase and 5 years in Carefree. He opened an account for me during an emotional time several monthes ago. Today I had a meltdown and he listened, fixed and managed my transaction with grace, empathy and kindness. I was close to canceling my banking with Chase, but Joshua restored my faith in customer service. The one-star rating is not for the branch. They have been great. It's the way corporate has handled my accounts since I informed them that my wife had just passed away. They have locked me out of my account several times for trying to pay my bills. For no good reason. When I call customer service, they unlock my account, and everything is fine until I try to pay my bills. And I've tried to resolve this numerous times. Had an appointment today with a banker at the Carefree branch. Received email reminder of our appointment. Arrived on time to find he’d taken the day off - would have been nice to be informed ahead of time so we didn’t make a wasted trip! The clerk dealing with us tried to reschedule us for a day we said we couldn’t do! Then made the new appointment for an hour later than we’d agreed to. Her general attitude was as though it was our fault the banker was a no-show. No apology for our wasted trip. Not a good experience.

Nash did a great job for me. There was no waiting time. I had a complicated multi-layered transaction involving several people and multiple bank accounts. Transfers were made, checks and balances were verified, electronic documents were signed, and paper documents were signed. This all happened late in the day before Thanksgiving. So I'm sure everyone wanted to go home. And come on, Nash has a picture of him and Jamie Diamond on his desk. He's the real deal :)
