I had an extremely frustrating and stressful experience with Chase Bank. They closed my account without any prior notice, no email, no letter, nothing. This account held all of my money — the funds I rely on daily, especially as a parent taking care of a baby. One day I simply lost access to everything. The bankers here are phenomenal. One specific associate banker, Chris M., went above and beyond to help me out with a cashier's check issue I was having. He sat with me and Chase customer service. He identified that there was a problem I would be unable to resolve on my end, and he escalated things appropriately within the Chase chain of command. Thanks specifically to Chris, I was able to resolve my issue. If you go in, make sure to ask for him.
Chase is my bank. I like them but not this branch. I traveled all the way to DC only for my appointment to open a new business account (and no they didn’t allow me to open it online). They said sorry our printers are not working and we can’t open an account! Irresponsible, lousy business with no regards to respect for client’s time. And mind you, I had booked and planned for this appointment about two weeks in advance. And yes the same Chase that is the largest bank in country!
Shout out to Stephen in the Ballston branch. I had a complex transaction that he handled and went able and beyond. He’s an asset to the Chase team.
