Closing All My Accounts Since Chase Took Over WaMu The people that work at this Lincoln branch (formerly known as Washington Mutual, but recently taken over by Chase) have always been very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the Chase takeover has left previous Washington Mutual customers like myself high and dry, due to the complete lack of service from Chase Corporate. I have taken all my money out of Chase Bank and would NEVER do any future business with them. Good riddance.
