Absolute worst customer service! I walked in today to open and checking and savings account and waited over 40 minutes for the manager to assist me, but he didn’t even acknowledge that I was there. (I must say the staff at the teller windows were very nice and almost embarrassed by their managers behavior). I left and went down the street to Synovus Bank and was promptly greeted and my accounts opened. While I was there, the manager even stopped to welcome me to the bank. Now that’s great customer service!
I came in to have my account closed because I was had subscriptions that I wasnt able to cancel. I was told that the can close the account and start a new one fresh and wouldn't get charged for anything from the old account. I was lied to and found out that all of my subscriptions transfered over to the new account. They don't take any responsibility. They lied to my face telling me that they articulated that it was a possibility that could happen. I was very careful about telling him exactly what I needed and he did not say... read more
