I provided my son with a Cashier's Check from my bank, Baxter Credit Union (BCU) for an automobile purchase. The teller at Chase when he went to deposit the check refused to validate the check so funds for the purchase would be available immediately. Which is the reason for a cashier's check. We took the check back to BCU and they provided me cash instead, which I then gave to my son. I have used this bank in the past for business and personal and clearly it has not changed. My wife and I have had nothing but issues here. I closed my acct years ago. Terrible experience everytime. The employees ALWAYS have a very bad attitude and do not care to change this over the years. Always an attitude with there customers.
I’ve never heard of a bank refusing to accept a cash deposit for one of their customers. You are a bank, what bank requests personal checks before a cash deposit? In attempt to help a family member that is currently in the hospital over 3 hours and how frustrating the couldn’t make an exception for one of their customers. I work in the financial industry and this just doesn’t make any sense and unsatisfactory customer service experience.
No bathrooms for people banking with them.
Tellers at the Crystal Lake branch are some of the nicest people I have ever met! Always greet you with a smile!
