Great banking option Washington Mutual is a bank that also offers loans. They offer free checking accounts and have special accounts for kids (minimum balance waived, special accounting booklets). The employees are friendly but professional, and I have never had any problems there. The decor is classy, and the service is fast. I highly recommend banking here. Interest rates are low, but they are at other banks too.
