Chase said they do not honor a POA- the accounts must be joint with both parties but Center for Elder Law and Justice said this Chase: "Yes, you can open a savings account for your father using a Power of Attorney (POA) without adding your name to the account as a joint owner. This branch needs to be modernized and add additional ATM’s, preferably a drive thru ATM. Literally myself and a line of 4 others waiting 15-20 mins for the ATM to reboot, in the middle of the day!! Staff noticed we were waiting outside. Please JPMC, time to modernize!
