I went to this Chase location yesterday to close out the account of my uncle who recently passed away. I was told that the hold on the account was placed by the social security administration, and there was nothing Chase could do about it. I then called the social security administration and was told they do not put holds on people’s accounts. They said perhaps the dept of the treasury (the IRS) did. This branch is a disgrace to the Chase brand. Save yourself a lot of frustration and go elsewhere. The branch manager is absent, you can’t get him on the phone(or anyone for that matter), and the staff is useless.

Almost gave this place 5 stars only because I was not greeted once I came into the door and some lady walked in after me and she was greeted bjt for some reason they ignored me and I had to look for assistance myself.
