I arrived 15 minutes before the bank’s 5:00 PM closing time to have a document notarized. I sat in the lobby waiting, and at 5:10 PM, an employee finally came over and asked what service I needed. When I explained that I needed a notary, he told me they couldn’t help me because the bank had closed at 5:00 PM. I understand that the bank closes at 5:00 PM.
