Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere. All these negative reviews are no accident. Just walked in to open a business account during business hours. I was told they don't have time to help me today and I should come back another day. Nope, I have plenty of other options. I will, however, take the time to switch my other 15-year personal accounts currently with Chase to other banks since this is just the last of several bad experiences I've had with them.
Trying to close a safe deposit box but no one calls me back and you cannot reach the Chase Pelham branch through any Chase phone numbers which seems absurd.
Bank officer gave wrong info regarding power of attorney, being joint on an account and ss rep payee asking if i agree to a background check by Chase legal dept. He has delayed my elderly parents direct deposits. This needs to be investigated by the FDIC. This is outside of Chase fiduciary duties. They were given legal letters from the SSA.
