Michelle at the counter is always all smiles and very willing to help with whatever she can.
One of those Chase branches where they have lots of people around, but only 1 teller. This seems to be the "norm" with Chase. At this branch, they don't greet you and call you by your name.
Arrived at the location at 4:38 PM, bank closes at 5:00 PM. Needed a wire transaction for an upcoming real estate closing on Monday, was informed that Anna can’t do it and the other banker is under training. Mind you, I have not had any issues for past 16+ years of being with JP Morgan Chase, at any location but this one. This is second time at Algonquin location. Tried to deposit some money and was denied my deposit because the change I got back from someone looked like it had a coffee stain on it. They told me I was depositing “contaminated money.” Then treated me like I was some sort of criminal. I asked them if the bank won’t take the $3 then who will. I was directed to SEND THEM TO THE FEDERAL RESERVE! These people are the most rude utterly worthless helpers and I can see why in person banking is at risk if this is the type of service they give.
