I’ve been banking at this location for 40+ years. I haven always found only friendliness, caring & very helpful personnel. 5-Star**
Bankers made me spend 3 hrs to open a business account, only to phone in online customer service for every other step. The process took three hours and the next day, the bankers continued to call multiple times for me to return to the branch to "finish the process." The bank also took my ID and did not let me leave despite communicating that I had work obligations that I needed to attend to. It was an awful experience.
My account was transfer from First Republic where they had incredible customer service. I miss that. This Chase location at York and 79th St is totally lacking in Customer Service.
I have been trying to get someone to help me transfer stock accounts from my parents to my name and was helped once by someone in Private Banking (will not name them) but the location is 79th Street and York Avenue. The person took my paperwork and told me I was missing some documents but would send in for review as depending on who reviews it may just put it through and they would call or email me the next day or so to give me status.
