We had to put my fiancés check into my account since he didn’t have a physical bank account. First it was placed on a hold then they closed my account because they couldn’t verify his information. They didn’t even have the right contact information for him at all, not even sure how they got that number for him. If you are looking for a bank, look elsewhere. I deposited a certified check there last Friday, they put a 10 business day hold on it. They gave me a phone number that I could call and get it released. However, when I called that number, they said it cannot be released before the hold is up. My brother's check was released the next day. They tried to tell me that every bank would put it on hold and not release it earlier.
