Last Friday I was shopping and my card got declined so I called the customer service line. They told me to go in to the bank in person to verify my ID. At 5:25 I rushed to the closes bank by my house and got there at 5:33 I asked to speak to a teller and the supervisor told me she couldn’t help me because they were busy. After multiple cycles of my wire transfer being cancelled online inspite of me calling their fraud prevention and waiting on hold for almost an hour each time and completing security protocol, I was forced to go the bank and pay a higher wire transfer fee than online. WHile the teller at the bank was helpful and wire completed, I asked that they waive the wire fees due be waived. I was promised this, and the bank conveniently chose not to. Why is this branch always closed with no explanation? Worst customer service.
Chase Bank has me disappointed right now. I had a fraudulent charge on my account and they are not even willing to work with me. Let me ask you this: If the customer doesn’t feel protected and taken care of, then who would want to put their money with you in the future? You better take it seriously or else I will cancel my account and bank with someone else.
