Impossible to get ahold of. Did not answer the phone after trying five different times.
tldr; Tellers and supervisor here told me that Chase wouldn't do something, but Chase policy said they should. Eventually they realized they were just doing it wrong. No apology given. -- I have multiple personal and business accounts with Chase but, like most folks, use the app or web so rarely go to a branch. I have multiple personal and business accounts with Chase but, like most folks, use the app or web so rarely go to a branch. Teller told me they would not redeem my US savings bond because it exceeded a $500 limit. This after I had signed in front of him because it requires the official witness, etc. We had already vetted the bond knew the calculated value was about $400 (not over $500).
