I was in the bank today to open a checking account and to get some information. it was a good experience with the banker Mr Nicholas Malvin who was very professional helpful and kind.

I have to say the managers, specifically Nicholas Malvin, does not know what he’s doing. I’m closing on a home so we were on a time crunch and my parents had written a check to be deposited into my account. Due to the amount, there was a hold but multiple chase representatives (as well as the ones in Oak Brook where I deposited the check) said there is a way to override the hold once the check is posted and sufficient funds are proven.
