My dad came to TOTS for respite after a hospital stay. He hated “nursing homes” and was very reluctant to stay. The care he received was respectful and exceptional. The staff are always willing to help in any way. But the friends that dad made was what made him decide to stay. He has made some of the best friends he’s ever had. At 98, he was running out of friends, but he has found a new lease in life and enjoys all the social aspects terrace in the square offers. Retirement living has extended dads life, I am sure.
From the moment I park in visitors, I have a welcome feeling and know my dad is in the best place in Waterloo
I occasionally visit my grandma here and it’s such a lovely place. The staff are incredibly kind and caring, and the environment feels welcoming and comfortable. It’s reassuring to know she’s in such good hands.

I feel so lucky working here with the staff and being able to help the residents and create amazing friendships with my coworkers and the residents and their families. Terrace on the square is a lovely retirement home to live or be their for respite or even have a hotel stay. The staff is very welcoming as you walk in, they greet you with a smile, and a beverage or a snack.
