Was moving resident furniture and got an allergic attack from dust(or something else I am not sure but their loading dock goes through dog washing area). Like full blown red face trouble breathing, asked the staff for help (Benedryl pill), they guided me to their wellness centre where guy smiled and told me that medicine is only for residents. I understand where he is coming from, but it's your facility that caused this.. If you are a contractor and allergic to dogs just be prepared.
The Christmas dinner on December 18th was beyond belief. Steak, lobster, appetizer, salad and dessert were ALL amazing! Presentation was spectacular . Angelo and kitchen staff did an outstanding job. Jim, Corry, Sara and ALL the staff came together to give all the residents an outstanding experience. It was like watching a well oiled machine. Bravo to Chartwell for having these wonderful employees. I hope they are recognized for their efforts because they definitely went ABOVE AND BEYOND any expectations that my family had.
I can’t say enough about the Montgomery Village resident Christmas party this year. What an absolutely wonderful evening! The steak and lobster dinner was exceptional — beautifully prepared, delicious, and truly felt like a special event rather than just a meal. I moved into Chartwell on September 1 It already feels like home, and I am Very content here It is now Christmas time and no matter where you look. The Christmas season is in full swing. All of our activities have had a Christmas theme from movies to crafts to paintings to Christmas baking, to weekly trips and Christmas carols that are echoing through the hallways.
