I had a very good experience with everything at manoir Kirkland so far. Starting with Lianne at the rental office who was wonderful in helping me find a nice place for my mom to Denise who took the time to explain things to my mom about a bathtub repair that needed to be done in her apartment, got Maria who is also wonderful to translate for my mom to make sure she understood everything. My mom got gastritis and she was told by nurse not to take heart pills because she was throwing up.the nurse gave her some liquid. and she was in.her apartment. Not to be check on until we tried to call her. after several hours my mom got.a stroke. And had to get an operation to relieve the pressure. They know a week ago that others got gastritis however no one washed down the elevators and told others to wear gloves and masks, to wash more. Staff didn't do more cleaning or sanitaire more or wear gloves or mask. And now you ... read more

So my mom spent 10 years at the Manoir Kirkland and enjoyed her time there, but she did tell me things are not the same as before.. During those 10 years she was an Ambassador for the residency, partook in all open houses, and invited new residents for their welcome lunch or dinner to help orient new tenants. She was also a piano player and entertained the residents on many occasions, even during covid which raised the moral of the residents. Unfortunately she passed August 19 and will be missed by all.
