So my mom spent 10 years at the Manoir Kirkland and enjoyed her time there, but she did tell me things are not the same as before.. During those 10 years she was an Ambassador for the residency, partook in all open houses, and invited new residents for their welcome lunch or dinner to help orient new tenants. She was also a piano player and entertained the residents on many occasions, even during covid which raised the moral of the residents. Unfortunately she passed August 19 and will be missed by all. Bad management, bad environment, not upkept. The only bright side to this place is the delightful nurse. Approach with caution and do all you can to avoid.

Chartwell Manoir Kirkland was the obvious choice when my dad decided it was time to move where he would be safe,comfortable and still remain as independent as possible. Heidi Wise was the magic that made it happen. The time and ease with her made the transition to be part of the community effortless. With what is a very stressful life event, they reassured my dad he was making the right choice. It is a challenge to living longer and at the CMK you can feel young again. My mother, that is not quite 80 years old yet, moved into Manoir Kirkland in May. She suddenly became blind in February and we needed a helping hand with some daily tasks such as food, medicine, etc while still maintaining an independent life. The Manoir Kirkland staff has been phenomenal in supporting my mother during this difficult transition in her life. They have been kind, accommodating, patient and helpful.
