I had the pleasure of meeting David Martin and touring the facility. My first impression was that the building and location were amazing. Situated in a location that offered both a peaceful, park like setting while also being located so close to all the amenities. David took the time to tour me throughout the facility and allow me the opportunity to speak to some of the residents. My name is Sarah Bailey, and I am the Family Services Manager at Trinity Funeral Home. Yesterday, I was privileged to conduct a seminar for a lovely group of residents at Chartwell Heritage Valley. We discussed the importance of preparations and the roles of the Power of Attorney, Executor, and Agent in the Advanced Care Directive. Our group from Congdon’s Aids to Daily Living had a great experience working with the Chartwell Heritage Valley when we recently had the opportunity to put on a Falls Prevention Presentation. We received excellent communication with the Recreational Therapist who made sure we had everything we needed that helped ensure a smooth delivery of our information. The turn out was fantastic and the residents were very engaged. This is a beautiful facility with a real sense of community among residents and staff.

Beautiful looking facility. However if your loved has bad behaviors, this is not the place for them. They will likely get kicked out. They do not integrate memory care patients with the rest of the residents. Not enough workers in Mem care for proper supervision given the long hallways and tucked away ends. Staff are nice. Our loved one is thriving at another place where they have multiple activities they take part in every day, they take MEM care patients out for walks & also integrate them with other residents for activiti... read more
