I am one of the students who had a placement and choose to volunteer here in Chartwell. I can say that the residents and the staff were nice and approachable. The place is clean and well taken care of. I was supervised by Mam Jen, the lifestyle program manager, she’s very nice and teaches us everything and makes our duty light and calm. I learned a lot from her especially in terms of being creative and resourceful. Four the past four years I have had the pleasure of entertaining the residents at CH. Their enthusiasm for a wide variety of music is amazing and they are always eager to join in the fun, singalong and make some musical memories. I know many of the residents by name now and always enjoy seeing them and having a chat. The smiles I see makes every show very special and rewarding for me.
