I will never use this bank in Putnam CT again. Just had a terrible experience with the teller. Eye rolls and everything. Will NOT be back. Closing loan thus week and DONE!
I have been with Charter Oak for almost a decade. I left big banks for a credit union to receive better customer service and less nickel and dime fees. Recently, Charter Oak has pushed me away. I love to travel and use my bank Visa. The foreign transaction fees are horrible. Pair this with the fact that they don't have 24 hour customer service means that traveling is difficult. Today I closed three of my four accounts with them and opened an account at a local bank with no fees and 24 hour service.
Best bank I've ever used. Great customer service, and they're always extremely helpful.
