The teamwork and advocacy skills demonstrated in CCPS is very inspiring. I have been most impressed by the band program at PCMS, led by Mrs. Miller. She is a very special teacher deserving recognition here. Kudos to all of the CCPS supporters
Can somebody please tell me how come 8th grade graduates does not have a proper promotion celebration at port charlotte middle school to move foward to high school like other schools. It is frustrating my friends are showing and posting pictures of their 8th graders and i can't because we did not get a celebration.all 8th graders who got promoted should participate not just some.

Charlottecounty public school is the worst. The teachers are lazy ,never give homework cause they don't want to grade them, oh your homework is to read for 30 minutes. Rely heavily on substitute when they only pick up a shift to collect payments. The schools are weak compared to Sarasota schools. People are not doing their job from the school board all the way down to teachers.wasting tax payer dollars.
Wastes thousands of tax payer dollars on mandatory inspirational speakers for staff “development”.
