I was the proud winner of the sweetgrass basket contest by Explore Charleston. My amazing basket was created by Corey Alston and arrived today. Thank you so much!
"South Carolina law makes it tough to lower Confederate flags" will book my vacation elsewhere
We just spent the weekend in Charleston and loved every moment walking the streets, the park, great meals, awesome market but the highlight of our weekend was a carriage ride on Palmetto Carriage Co. The guide was a fountain of information on the architecture, history and lore. We loved traveling through downtown on the carriage. Can't think of a better way to enjoy the day.
Beautiful city with excitement and lots things to see and do!
Beautiful town, wish I could have stayed longer...definitely planning on coming back. I was in the French Quarter at noon on Sunday.. hearing all the church bells at once was pretty magical
