With promises of extra services and opportunities, the team at the Spokane office convinced me they were worth the fees charged for Wealth Management. Without devulging details, let's just say this program is not worth the cost. They actually don't have a Wealth Advisor on staff locally and in my case was assigned a person based in Phoenix. It's hard to build a relationship with someone 1,000 miles away. If you need a true Wealth Advisor, find a company that is truly local.
We have moved ALL our accounts--brokerage, retirement, HSA--to Schwab in the last few years. Most recently, we moved a brokerage account from E*Trade/Morgan Stanley. ETrade/MS was impossibly frustrating and has taken TWO WEEKS to give me my money (still pending) and charged two very large fees while they were at it, one from our existing account AND one from our NEW account with Schwab. This company couldn't suck more. My father passed recently and left me a small amount of stock. They are holding it hostage, regardless what I do to prove my identity.
I have had a very bad experience with charles schwab and an aupair who earns a stipend of $200 per week . It took me so much time to save my little peanuts only for them to lock me out of my account .I went to the bank for verification every time I wanted to make transfers even local transfers , then asked for them to discard ny account and give me my money back.
