No one answers the phone. A Schwab representative suggested that I speak with a financial adviser at my local branch (Savannah) and he told me they would reach out to me directly, but they never have. So I have tried to call them directly multiple times, but no one ever picks up - I just get routed to the national help line (shout-out to Ryan in Omaha!). I think I will finally make the move to Vanguard. :p

What an insulting disappointment. I called this branch to make an appointment, but their phone rolled over to Schwab’s customer service line 3 times. A week and a half later when someone called me back, we made an appointment. I went in this morning and was met at the door by their administrative assistant….who then led me into an empty office and started to talk at me about financial terms that I am not familiar with. Mike Thames is the BEST financial advisor! He is super attentive to client needs, offers quick and helpful suggestions, and most importantly (to me) he helps me understand the market and how to invest in my future.
