Terrible experience with Kevin under the direction of his “boss” Rachel. I am now switching to Fidelity under Kevin’s recommendation to go with another firm. I have been a client with Schwab for almost 10 years and needed to rollover over my county retirement funds into a Roth IRA. They refused to sign my rollover paperwork, stating that they don’t sign 3rd party forms because my “random papers are a liability and could make them owe me a million dollars”… what?? Just switch to Fidelity.
I went into the office today to change my security code on my accounts and J was there to greet me. A very helpful and pleasant young lady that knew what I was talking about and quickly and efficiently handled my needs. Additionally, they had a terminal there to make sure I could log in to my account online. Really great service from Schwab SB! Thanks
If you accidentally hit the INVESTOR checking button instead of “Individual” account when moving in money, it will go into zero interest hell for up to a week while they make 5% off it. Think that account name was accidental? Ask them to move it into the right account and they suddenly acquire an odd disability to help. Get your hand out of my pocket, Schwab. Guess where my money is going, once I get it back?
