Gotta Love the Hamlin Hamlin Pub is a great bar to go to to just hang out. It's a casual atmosphere with a lot of sports playing. They always have drink specials during Detroit sports' games. It is usually pretty crowded and smoky, though.
Great Atmosphere! We had our office Christmas party at Hamlins. What a great place. They had large tables to accomodate our crowd. Of course we were ordering drinks and no one had complaints about drinks being too strong or made incorrectly. There are many locations and I have been to the Lake Orion pub. We received great service there and the live bands play music you can get up and dance to.
