Started using Charles (Chuck) Jones in 2021; he was not sociable nor hospitable, but he seemed thorough. Using Chuck Jones for the 2021 and 2022 tax years was adequate, but then comes 2023. Filed 2023 taxes with Chuck in March 2024, then heard nothing from Chuck nor his office for several months, except that he filed for an extension through October 15, 2024 and that he estimated no taxes would be owed. I would give 0 stars if allowed - Chuck Jones did our taxes in 2020, and now, 3 years later, we discovered that according to the IRS our taxes were not filed because they were submitted twice, one requesting the refund be applied to the next year and (per our request) another one filed because we wanted our refund immediately. We never got the refund because the IRS will not file two returns, both with Chuck Jones name as our tax preparer and his signature.
