Terrible customer service. Not welcoming or helpful. They make you feel like a burden as soon as you walk in. I feel uncomfortable asking questions because of eye rolls and blunt responses. I won't be using them again and wouldn't recommend them.
Did a good job with a pant leg hemming while their usual tailor was away. I thought $48 was a bit rich for such a basic job. Also, a 7 day turnaround which by day 6.5 still hadn’t been done was a bit frustrating. Will go elsewhere in future.
I recently got a pair of pants hemmed and needed a very quick turnaround. Connie and the team were wonderful - professional, fast, and just really lovely people. Thank you, I'll be sure to be back! <3
I have been coming to The Sewing Boutique for the last 10+ years. I first came because it was close to my house but I havent lived in the area for 4 years, and still go there for every alteration project. The quality of work and service are impeccable. I highly recommend them.
A feature of a lovely hand made bag I had bought 13 years ago, was the underlying purple mock leather which unfortunately had deteriorated and was shedding. I thought it might be in the “too hard basket” to restore. Connie’s team convinced me it was doable but would be a fiddly job involving the removal of its beautiful embellishments - front & back, replacing the flaking material with the new thin purple leather I had sourced, & restitching the embellishments back on.
