You get other elderlies that come into my father room and uses his bathroom or take some of his stuff like diapers. I have noticed that they are not prepared to receive new elderlies either, not much equipment to help them lift or have male nurses too help also. Nice place but that about it.

Our 97 yr. old mom who was able minded but with mobility issues reluctantly went into Chapel Hill and was there for 9 months. She gradually became comfortable with the staff and eventually got to know them and enjoyed their company, although their attendance was not always according to what was scheduled. Some days she had no one to help get her up, washed and dressed for the day. The food was not great. She enjoyed some of the activities. My parents have been living at this residence for a few months now. They love their suite. It is the perfect size and layout for them. They are also very happy with the staff, food and services. My mother has dementia and participates in the “Blossom” program. A special thank you to Tricia and her staff who run this great program. My parents absolutely love it at CH!
