Registration lady is not up to date with texas laws.. as of March 18th 2022 SB 876 passed, stating, that you can register your vehicle at ANY county tax office with proof of insurance, inspection, ownership. A fee may apply depending on the county you reside. But your driver's license does not have to match the county you register your car in any longer. So please take my money for the love of God!
