Established in 2009. In 2002, a committee of local organizers formed to bring an educational experience unlike any other to the Southern Tier of NYS. After 6 years of planning & preparation, then-Congressman Randy Kuhl, Jr. helped obtain a grant from NASA for $500,000 to get the project started. Dresser-Rand, joined in the support, donating $250,000.
