I recently made a RTGS large sum payment from Westpac to start a Term Deposit with Challenger. RTGS payment is a same day processing process which should credit the funds to my Challenger account in a couple of hours, but it comes with a $30 cost. Something went wrong in the process and somehow in 3 days' time I still have not received the money and I was really worried it would become a finger pointing exercise between Westpac and Challenger. Terrible organization. They used be know as My Life My Finance and now rebranded as Challenger Bank. I had closed my and my wife's account with them in writing and was confirmed the accounts were closed and now after few years I am getting letter with new card. I am seriously going to escalate this with AFCA as twice I was confirmed about closure of accounts but seems like nothing has happened. Clearly shows negligence and incompetency from their management and customer service
