Established in 1991, The Wisconsin ChalleNGe Academy is a program for troubled youths between the ages of 16 and 18. The academy offers a 22-week-long residential program that is equivalent to a high school diploma. It provides cadets with the opportunities to put together a Post-Residential Action Plan (PRAP) with the help of staff members. The challenge academy is at Ft McCoy. It’s on an army base. Not much for food choices or activities. Not far from town which does offer a selection of food and convenience stores. Serves the purpose it’s supposed to.

These people are angels in disguise. They are putting forth the effort and support that these kids need to be succeed in life. I will advocate and say my son has been a whole different person since attending. The progress and the growth is incredible and I’m forever grateful as is my son.

My parents removed me from this unprofessional program after I was sexually harassed for a month I tried telling my team leader and all he said was suck it up life happens and received almost no compensation when I broke my ankle the senior team leader would yell at me for falling back on a run mind you I have seriously bad asthma and was a smoker from the age of 11 they would not allow me to have my inhaler because it was a drug I can overdose on and if I had an asthma attack I should get over it They left the team leader l... read more
