Established in 1991, The Wisconsin ChalleNGe Academy is a program for troubled youths between the ages of 16 and 18. The academy offers a 22-week-long residential program that is equivalent to a high school diploma. It provides cadets with the opportunities to put together a Post-Residential Action Plan (PRAP) with the help of staff members. So I didn’t make it through, I was a troubled teen /foster kid.. but now that I’m an adult, a mother & wife.. and I often look back and regret not just finishing the program.. I made it out and turned my life around before it became too late, but I often wonder where I’d be if i would’ve just stuck it out and finished! I attended back in the Dayc1998 when there was a 6 week program. Cadet John Christensen honestly it saved my life I still Have the same manners I learned up at Fort Mcoy my brother Dan Christensen also attended the 5.5 Month program if you want to save your life or your kids life then 6 months is definitely worth everyone who is not succeeding in normal school/ Community settings
If your lost or headed down a dark road in life, this is an opportunity to start over and turn your life around.
