The Chairman is the place to go for chairs and stools on long island. The owner Jim is friendly and helpful with knowledge of quality products. We bought 4 new stools for our kitchen island.

I drove all the way from Bayside… got there at 4:30pm and it was closed. (supposed to be open till 5).it was so aggravating and frustrating…Not good business!
Jim the owner was very helpful and had very good quality chairs and tables. He gave you a lot of time to look around and wasn't pushing you to make a decision. We bought a really nice table, the quality was good. It was delivered and put together by one of his employees who was meticulous and cleaned up the boxes after. First time in over 50 years, I got a thank you note from Jim for purchasing our table. It's the personal touch from a conscientious business that is lacking from other larger chain stores.
