Chad has been training my kids for the last 6 years and has been nothing short of amazing with Them. He was so integral to Their training that when He chose to venture out His own, both of My Boys did not hesitate to follow. MMA and BJJ were their favorite parts of the blended system They studied. I have trained in martial arts for the better part of 20 years and I can confidently say Chad Shepherd is the best instructor I've ever had the opportunity to work with. He is able to break down the material and instruct it clearly and confidently. He cares about each one of his students and works hard to help them achieve their goals. He is especially good with children. My son, my Father and my nephew have all trained under him and had the same experience as I have.
My son has been with Chad for many years and has followed him to his new school due to his mentorship and skillset. Chad is a true leader and cares about your kids and treats him as family . I highly recommend this academy. This is not your typical academy . It is small enough to get the true one on one instruction that is needed. Beyond the skills Chad teaches them life values that have really helped emotionally prepare my son !
I can't say enough good things about Professor Chad! My son wanted to start doing MMA, and I wanted to find a school that had a strong foundation in the philosophy of martial arts. In professor Chad's teaching, we found both! Every lesson ends with a reflection on some aspect of one's character and what it takes to do your best. My son and I have been at the Academy for just under a year. My son was very hesitant, as he is very shy and was not sure about going to the first class. Now he comes straight home from school and does his homework so he can get to class early. Professor Chad works with the kids on their level and their speed. He has a program Which teachers Brazilian jujutsu, MMA, self-defense and Respect While building self-confidence. We highly recommend Visiting the academy, taking a class or just even watching.
