I had just moved to NY. I hired Mr. Cervone to do my taxes. It was a very simple straight forward tax return for a single mom. He made a mistake on my tax return and did not include child tax credit correctly. The IRS called me and I had to deal with IRS directly and without his help. In the meanwhile, I received his invoice in March. I did not pay the invoice, because I wanted to see what other tax surprises are waiting for me.
