Best driving school around! Very customer service friendly. They have an excellent reputation at the DMV per conversation with workers there. We lost our driving completion form and contacted Larry the morning of getting son’s drivers license and he was so quick to send us another one! 10/10 recommend sending your child! My youngest will be attending next.
Recently Certified Driving School moved to the campus of NOC. This gives students 3 fantastic opportunities! First CDS has a much nicer classroom as it is designed for college students. Second the neighborhood is more conducive to learning driving. The streets are simple and very well marked. And third ALL test driving routes must begin and end at the classroom parking lot. Note point 2. The driving test is now much "friendlier" than when Certified used Willow and Van Buren!

I did my drivers ed through it with Gordon and he was good, but when it came to actually taking my test with Larry I hated it. Before I even took my test I saw him with this lady and turns out she was an instructor for him, he never informed my mom or me or had the decency to ask me if it was okay to have her in the car with me. He just told us what she was and what she will do, so not only was there another person I didn’t know that well but it also made me more nervous. I really wanted to give them a higher rating. The driver's Ed part was great, I liked how they did it. That being said the actual driving test is apparently impossible to pass. I can understand getting failed for some things but it's like they intentionally fail them for stupid stuff. It feels like we are getting scammed for $ at this point. We will not be recommending them to anyone in the future. Save your money and take your kid somewhere else. We have spent so much through them we could have gone to one of the more expen... read more
